Vancouver Csárdás

The Vancouver Csárdás Dance group has existed since the late 1970's, operating under the Hungarian Cultural Society of Vancouver as a non-profit organization. The group consists of children from the ages of 5 and up of all nationalities, providing the opportunity to learn and appreciate Hungarian folk dance. In such a multicultural society as Canada, the ability to preserve, enjoy and pass on the beauty and richness of Hungarian folk dance is best revealed by the children on stage. They are given the chance to share their passion for this incredible art form while seeing the same love and excitement reflecting back through the eyes of their audience.

A magyar közösség számunkra olyan, mint egy család, mert nemcsak hagyományokat osztunk meg egymással, hanem értékeket, nevetést, és egy mély összetartozásérzést is. Bármerre sodor az élet, mindig úgy gyűlünk össze, mint testvérek az ünnepi asztalnál, ugyanazt a szeretet-, és kultúranyelvet beszélve. Legyen szó táncról, énekről, játékról, meséről vagy csak együtt töltött időről, mindig van benne melegség, büszkeség és megértés. Itt érezzük magunkat igazán elfogadva és bevonva a közösségbe.
